Quilts not only comforting someone you've never met, but provide something useful in ways you never imagined.

Bright, colorful, sturdy and warm, Fleece Tied Blankets are a soft, cozy reminder that someone cares. In a hospital room or on the hard ground, these handmade blankets provide protection and a sense of comfort.

Items we take for granted are treasures in the hands of their recipients. Your gifts are beautiful expressions of God’s love and grace to those in greatest need. Thank you.

Volunteering is good for the soul...
Bring your family, invite your friends. Sign up as many times as you like.
Get Involved We are Connected...
No matter what you are able to do to help, someone, somewhere in the world, will always remember your kindness. And the more people that get involved, the faster we will end poverty, injustice and suffering.

Service 10:00 & 11:00

Make & Ship LWR Quilts & Kits
For families who have lost everything due to a natural disaster or violence, small items of comfort — a warm quilt, a bar of soap, a set of pencils — let them know someone across the sea cares. Every year, Lutheran groups and individuals put their hearts and hands into sewing Quilts and assembling Kits of baby, health, school and sewing items, which LWR distributes efficiently and economically .

Thursday eMessages valuabe everyday!

On April 6, let us all as one, in the Florida-Bahamas Synod, celebrate our accomplishments and look toward a future of innovative mission among God’s people.
High school children, the elderly, the homeless, those contemplating God, and the hungry are touched by the foresight and generosity of our synod’s congregations through Together in Mission!
April 6th
For us... nothing feels better than coming together on a Wednesday evening and putting our love together on a mission to help someone else.
There projects don't require swinging a hammer, getting on a ladder or carrying 50 pounds. But once a month, we can gather our goods, gather together and oh how we can affect the lives of our neighbors at home and in far away places.
Don't Believe Your Pennies Add UP? ELCA Malaria Campaign say
We did it! The ELCA Malaria Campaign reached its financial goal of raising $15 million.
Thank you! Working with our Lutheran companions and partners, malaria programming has taken place throughout 13 countries in Africa. By working together, we have brought about lasting change. Although the fundraising goal of $15 million has been met, our commitment to ending deaths from this preventable, treatable disease has not. Additional gifts may be given to expand the malaria efforts until Jan. 31, 2016. In the coming years, support to our companions and partners to address malaria will come through gifts to ELCA World Hunger, which has a long history of supporting health-related work.
Thank you!
